The Bayit Association provides safe, supportive, and culturally appropriate housing for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Northern New Jersey’s Orthodox Jewish communities.

Founded by parents of individuals with IDD, Bayit aims to create homes that maintain Shomer Shabbat and Shomer Kashrut standards, close to community amenities.

Their mission is to foster independence and integrate residents into the community. The Bayit has acquired homes in Teaneck and plans to open its first residence in Fall 2024.
